The Suffers: Whelan’s Gig

The Suffers will play at Whelan’s on Wexford Street, March 12th, 2017.

The Suffers have reinvented the sound of Gulf Coast Soul. Formed in 2011, their lineup is Adam Castaneda (bassist), Pat Kelly (vocalist/keyboardist), Jon Durbin (trumpet), Michael Razo (trombonist), Kevin Bernier (guitarist), Nick Zamora (drummer/vocalist) and Jose “Chapy” Luna (percussionist). Filling out the jazz rhythm section Cory Wilson (saxophonist) and Alex Zamora (guitarist/vocalist) play alongside Kam Franklin (lead vocals).

The band released their debut self-titled album earlier this year.
