Phil Lynott Remembrance Gig at Monroes

On January 6, 2017, the annual Phil Lynott Remembrance Gig will take place at Monroe’s Live. The show will feature ‘Remembering Lizzy’. The band joined Phil’s mother Philomena Lynott onstage before for a rendition of ‘Dancing in The Moonlight’. The audience can expect Lizzy’s classics like ‘Sarah’, ‘Jailbreak’ and ‘ The Boys are back in Town’ during the set as well as ‘Whiskey in the Jar’. In 1991, Remembering Lizzy played their first Thin Lizzy tribute show in Galway City on the fifth anniversary of Phil’s death. Remembering Lizzy play Monroe’s on January 6, 2017.
