Una Healy’s debut solo album The Waiting Game, will be released on February 10 via Decca Records.
Una commented on the album, “Over the past 2 years I’ve been writing and recording my debut solo album and I’m so excited to finally share it with everyone. I have literally been playing the waiting game! The songs were all written from the heart and I hope people can relate to them. The sound of the album is very true to my roots and is a return to the music I’ve always loved.”
The forthcoming track ‘Stay My Love’ features US TV series Nashville star Sam Palladio. Una commented on the duet, “I love his music, his style, the Nashville country feel, it’s exactly the direction I wanted my solo music to take and I am so pleased that Sam and I duetted on this track. I am so proud of Stay My Love and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Una will play a show at The Sugar Club, Dublin on February 16, and joined on stage by Catherine McGrath.
